Re:Wire
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2, 2026
Re:Wire is a read-only discipline app for futures traders. It watches the trading accounts you connect, compares what happens with the rules you set for yourself, and tells you when a rule breaks. This policy says exactly what Re:Wire reads, why, what it keeps, and what you control.
1. Who we are
Re:Wire is made by Livewire Trades LLC. Contact: [email protected].
2. What Re:Wire reads from your trading platform
When you connect Tradovate, you sign in on Tradovate’s own page and approve read-only access. Re:Wire then reads, for the accounts you connect:
- Accounts and balances: the accounts on your login, their balances and cash.
- Positions: what is open and its size.
- Orders and every change to an order: for example a stop moved from 1R to 2R, an order pulled, a target changed.
- Fills: entries and exits, with time and price.
- Account risk settings and status: your platform’s own limits and how close you are to them.
- Your user information: your platform user ID and name, to know which login is yours.
- Contract details: to show a symbol such as “MGC” instead of a numeric ID.
Re:Wire does not request market data, chat or platform alerts, and it does not request any permission to place, modify, cancel or liquidate orders, change risk settings or move funds.
3. Why we read it
- To compare your trading with the rules you set (for example “my stop only moves toward entry”) and alert you when one breaks.
- To build your receipts, the replay of a trade, your weekly grade and your progress.
- To show each account’s room to its drawdown floor and its progress toward a payout.
We use this data only to provide Re:Wire to you.
4. What we keep, and for how long
- The trading records behind your receipts, replays and grades (orders, order changes, fills, positions and balances) for as long as your Re:Wire account is open.
- The rules, schedule and settings you write in Re:Wire.
- A sign-in token from your platform, encrypted at rest. We never see or store your platform password.
- If you delete your Re:Wire account, we delete your data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep (for example billing records).
5. Notifications
Callouts are push notifications. They can include trade details, for example “Stop moved away from entry: 1R → 2R.” You choose which callouts are on, and your phone controls what shows on the lock screen.
6. Who else sees it
- No one by default. Re:Wire is private.
- Your public profile, only if you turn it on: it shows behavior only (for example rules kept and streaks), never balances, profit or loss.
- Service providers who run parts of Re:Wire for us under contract: hosting (Cloudflare), payments (Stripe) and email delivery. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
- We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
- We may disclose data if the law requires it.
7. Your controls
- Disconnect a platform at any time, in Re:Wire’s Settings or in your platform’s own settings. Re:Wire stops reading at once.
- Export your data, or delete your account and everything in it, from Settings or by emailing us.
- Change which callouts are on, your rules and your schedule at any time.
8. Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Sign-in tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is limited. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the platforms involved promptly.
9. Not financial advice
Re:Wire reflects your own rules back to you. It does not recommend trades or give investment advice.
10. Age
Re:Wire is for people 18 and older.
11. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
