Questions, answered.
Write to [email protected] and a person answers. The questions below cover most of what traders ask before they connect an account.
Frequently asked
- Can Re:Wire place, change or cancel my orders?
- No, and it cannot. The access Re:Wire asks for when you connect your trading platform is read-only. It sees orders, fills and positions; it has no way to send an order. You keep every decision.
- Which trading platforms does it support?
- Tradovate first, live and demo accounts, through Tradovate's own sign-in. You never give Re:Wire your platform password. Other futures platforms follow.
- Does it work with demo or evaluation accounts?
- Yes. A demo account is watched the same way as a funded one, which is how most traders practise before they commit money. Evaluation and funded accounts at proprietary trading firms are the most common setup among our traders.
- What does Re:Wire watch?
- The rules you set at sign-up, judged from your own account activity: whether a stop was moved away from entry or pulled, whether a trade had a stop at all, position size, trade count, time between a close and the next entry, instruments, session hours and your daily loss limit. The full list is on the home page.
- How fast is a callout?
- Re:Wire reads the platform's live event stream rather than polling it, so a broken rule is seen within a fraction of a second of the platform recording it, and the callout follows immediately.
- Does Re:Wire need live market data?
- No. Every rule is judged from your orders, fills and positions. The open-trade view shows your entry, stop, target and side exactly; a live price marker appears only where your platform login carries a market-data entitlement for apps.
- What does it cost?
- A 14-day free trial, then a monthly subscription. Two plans: Awaken at $25 a month and Rewire at $50 a month. Cancel any time in your App Store subscriptions; access runs to the end of the paid period.
- Which devices?
- iPhone first, with a browser companion for the desk. An Android app follows the iPhone release.
- What happens to my data if I leave?
- Disconnect your platform in Settings and Re:Wire stops reading immediately. You can ask us to delete your account and its history at [email protected]; the privacy policy lists what is kept and for how long.
